Campaign Story
We are eager to announce that we’re starting the embryo ADOPTION process!
We are so excited to finally share this news, as adoption has been something we’ve worked towards for over 5 years. Much of our delay has been due to the cost of adoption. Traditional adoption through an agency can cost upwards of $90,000 or more. Embryo adoption is much more affordable AND allows for us to experience pregnancy and the bonding opportunity. The cost alone for both options has halted our efforts and taken our breathe away. We have been encouraged by friends and family to look towards fundraising, so that’s what we are doing! We have MATCHED with a gracious family and their frozen embryos and are excited to start this process!
If you don’t know us, we are Tim and Jenny and live in Louisiana. We have persevered many infertility treatments (including IUIs and IVFs), as well as multiple surgeries to maintain fertility and curb the pain of endometriosis. After 8 years with no child, we have decided we would rather invest our time in our adoption journey. Love makes a family, not just genetics, and we have so much love to give.
